Vintage Milk Crate - Chestnut Farms

Original milk crate from a 19th century dairy in Washington DC.  Chestnut Farms dairy was located at 1116 Connecticut Avenue, across from today’s Mayflower Hotel, supplying the area with milk and cream in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s.
